Toyota Corolla 4wd

4WD 85 Toyota Tercel wagon

Toyota camry 4WD
Reflecting an industry trend, Toyota gave Camry an All-Trac sedan with permanently engaged all-wheel drive. The AWD system split engine torque 50/50 front/rear; it lacked separate low-range gears like a 4WD truck, but had a mechanical center differential that could be locked for maximum traction in slippery conditions via a dashboard switch. The All-Trac came only in LE trim and with manual transmission.

VW Golf SYNCRO

A few rare Sciroccos:
1976.5 Super Scirocco. The standard 76 models were carbureted, but had trouble passing CA smog tests. So, late in the model year VW introduced the Super model, with fuel injection (which was standard on all US Sciroccos from 1977). AFAIK they were all brown, with the big "Scirocco" decals on the doors, and they all had the very rare opening vent windows (the only other US Scirocco with opening vent windows was the 1978 Champagne Edition). I'm not sure of exact production numbers, but I've only seen 3 in existence on the internet, and none in person.

1982 Callway Turbo Scirocco. 25 of these were built by Callaway Cars and sold through a few select VW dealers. The whereabouts of only 3 of them are known at this time.

1988 Scirocco Slegato. Slegato is Italian for "unchained" which doesn't really make much sense, since this was basically an 8v Scirocco with the 16v body kit. It was only sold in Canada, and only 127 were made. Some were Paprika Red and some were Helios Blue. There are 2 that have been imported to the US. One red, one blue.

500 built
California Edition (Silver anniversary Scirocco)
To commemorate the production of the 600,000th Scirocco in 1983, a limited run of 500 California Edition Sciroccos were built. They were also know at the factory as 'Silver anniversary Sciroccos'. Although largely based on the Wolfsburg Edition, it was the only 8v Scirocco sold in the U.S. market to have a body kit as standard. This was essentially the same Kamei X1 kit as fitted to early European GTXs but without the raised section on the front spoiler for mounting the number plate.
14" Avus alloy wheels, leather seats and Karmann B-pillar badges were standard equipment. The only colour choice was Zermatt silver. The sales code for this Scirocco was S44.

Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R LM Road
This is the only R33 GT-R LM homologation road car built. It was retained by Nissan and has only rarely been seen in public after serving its homologation purposes. Even though the new regulations required a GT1 racing car to be based on a road car, production of just one road car was sufficient to homologate the model. So while the R33 Skyline formed the basis of the project, NISMO had full freedom as long as they built at least one similar road car. The end result was the R33 GT-R LM, which looked similar to the production cars, but under the heavily body-kitted skin was quite heavily modified. The biggest difference was the switch to rear wheel drive, abandoning the high-tech adaptive four wheel drive system of the road car.

242 Group A Homologated Turbo (1983): 500 models built to satisfy production requirements to qualify for Group-A sedan class racing in Europe; all were sold to Volvo of North America and approximately 30 were returned to Europe for racing; all of these cars had flat hoods not otherwise seen on North American 240s, as well as numerous and substantial performance and suspension upgrades ranging from larger radiators and intercoolers to water injection and large rear spoilers

What about the 95-97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Orvis Edition only about 15,000 made during the run.
