What made Chevrolet's trucks of the 1950s so liked in later decades was the ease at which they took modifications. The huge engine bays swallowed a small-block V8 with ease and in fact could take a big-block without major work. Being of wide track meant they could also handle suspension swaps from larger sedans without the need to narrow either axles of front crossmembers. The scope has produced numerous reworked examples, but many stick with the truck's original utilitarian lines as they appear aggressive in factory form. This truck has gone through the mildest of changes, featuring a tuned small-block V8 with Tri-Power three carb set-up, and uprated brakes with front discs to cope with the perfomance. Apart from that and the modern radials on alloy rims, the truck is just exeptionally clean and straigh, with superb chrome work.
